Cooling Tunnel Impex CT-400.4

The tunnel is intended for fast cooling of confectionery products after enrobing (decorating). The cooling system is designed on the basis of industrial automatic system, which allows working 24/7 without stopping the production process to defrost the evaporators. Increased capacity of the refrigeration unit 6500kcal/h as well as the evaporators allows achieving process conditions within 1-2 minutes. Together with the high-performance air circulation system in the tunnel it allows achieving process conditions equal to the ones in the regular 6-meter tunnel.

The tunnel is intended for fast cooling of confectionery products after enrobing (decorating). The cooling system is designed on the basis of industrial automatic system, which allows working 24/7 without stopping the production process to defrost the evaporators. Increased capacity of the refrigeration unit 6500kcal/h as well as the evaporators allows achieving process conditions within 1-2 minutes. The tunnel has two cooling sections which are possible to extend to 3. The products are cooled by forced bidirectional cool airflow. The cooling system has very low humidity, which provides optimal crystallization of chocolate.

The air is cooled by means of built-in refrigeration compressor with the capacity of 6500kcal/h. The type of refrigerant is Freon R-507.

    • The cooling chamber is made of stainless steel. It is also insulated with sandwich panels.
    • The cooling capacity is 6500kcal/h.
    • Defrosting of the evaporator by hot Freon according to the pre-set program within 15-30 seconds. This allows defrosting without stopping the production process.
    • The drain pan is heated in order to prevent frosting of the condensate drain channel.
    • Powerful air circulation system in the tunnel 950m3/h.
    • Polymeric layered belt.
    • Component parts are produced by the best manufactures: ELIWELL, MITSUBISHI, FRIGABOHN.
    • Auto-clean of the belt.
    • The refrigeration unit can be installed offsite (within 15 meters).
    • The unloading system allows the staff to remove the products directly from the belt before they move out of the tunnel without waiting for them to fall from the bend of the belt on the exit of the tunnel.
