Impex FS-500 screener
The horizontal vibratory sifter is designed for sifting flour, loosening it, aerating it, and separating ferromagnetic impurities.
The equipment is used in bakery, confectionery, and food production facilities for preparing flour before the next technological process.
Design and operating principle of the sifter
The sifter consists of a supporting frame, receiving hopper, sieve, discharge tray with a magnetic trap for metal impurities, and a power unit.
The sieve is suspended from the frame on elastic suspensions, allowing it to move in a horizontal plane. The power unit consists of an electric motor connected to a crank mechanism through a belt drive. This mechanism converts the rotary motion of the motor shaft into the reciprocating motion of the sieve.
Sifting process
A bag of flour is placed on the support platform. After the sifter is started, flour is loaded into the receiving hopper in portions of 8-10 kg, passes through the sieve, and enters a pre-prepared container through the discharge tray.
After the work is completed, the sifter is turned off. All retained impurities are periodically removed from the surface of the sieve with a brush.
